Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elliott Taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an actress in theater and film in addition to being a producer. The path to acting started with the theater. Then she appeared on numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream film. The actress became famous for her role as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico while also appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut in The Tempest as Ariel. Stage credits include Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner.
