Awkwafina
American actor and musician Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. Apart from classical music and jazz, she started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. Her focus shifted to music once she finished her studies. After becoming famous via the Internet the My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hits like the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$1. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. Apart from being a published author and a singer, she was also a professional as a singer. She's appeared in movies like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in 2018 with a few notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. It was in June that she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
